Look what I just discovered! I was looking for Christmas Carols when this popped up, and it's great, and happy and cheery! I love it, Christmas spirit, here I come! And yes, I do need all those exclamation marks!
...I ate way too much chocolate and sugar, can you tell?
...and did I mention I am wearing glasses now? Age will come and get me... the Big 30 next year
Hey, do I see some not eaten chocolate there? Toodels everyone!

This month I am flying the
on rl. Girl 'broke' her leg monday, and I had to come home from work, take her to the doctor, who send me to the clinic. I almost didn't go, because my girls was limping, and a bit later just plain walking on it, and it looked like it only hurted when we asked her if it hurt. She is 2 and a half, so I thought she was just enjoying the attention. But the pics showed a small crack in the bone and now she is wearing a plaster (-> translated by interwebz, don't blame me if it is wrong). It's called a 'green wood fracture'. It's actually cute to see her walking around with it (which she shouldn't, but I can't tie her up in a chair, can't I?) I am not being cruel, it's just that she isn't in pain, so I can look at her and she the cuteness instead of the horrible-excruciating-pain that you would expect.
( Yes, I took pics of her with the plaster, and no, I am not an insane paparazzi-mum. Really not. )And I went on Twitter today, used my ordinary email for everyday use, with a little under the 100 contacts, and guess what... No one is on twitter. It is kinda a relief that I am not the last one, but it is strange to be the first one. I would have thought from at least 6 (up to 15) people in my contacts that they would be on Twitter.
So, yeah, twitter won't probably hold my interest very long ;)
As always, I had those "no, that's not how it happened, damn you directors and other Hollywood people!!!" moments, but much less then the previous movies. It helped that I had seen the trailer of course.
And
And Tom Felton is looking extremely good in his uniform, as do Rupert and Dan. There was a lot of eye candy in this movie, I tell ya!
But yay for Cormac (need to find this actors name), My new OTP Cormac/Hermione, i need MOAR FIC now!
/ramblings...
My internet-news-site did their daily photo-gallery around Emma Watsons dress style on the red carpet. It might be nice for the creative people on my Flist to have access to 37 pics of Emma, starting young and ending -uhm- not old yet ;) (damn, do I feel old looking at them).
Anywayz: here is the link http://www.hln.be/hln/nl/944/Celebrities/p
The few pics where Dan is in, I really start doubting his clothing choice. Maybe he should just walk around naked all the time? Rupert is mostly gangly teen style when he is on the pics.
When over there, just click "volgende" for next en "vorige" for previous.
pic nr7: Rupert is stylish at young age
pic nr8: oops, no, not that stylish (Dan is better looking in this pic)
pic nr17: Rupert casual and Dan in suit...
pic nr 19: Dans tie ^^ , do you see what I mean ??? Rupert wears cool shirt X)
pic nr20: that is three pairs of shoes I don't like...
pic nr 29: oh Dan, come out of the closet, will you?
pic 33: Emma should wear heels all the time, she has the legs for it and those flat shoes won't look good on anybody.
pic 34: kinky leather Emma
pic 36: Daa-aa-haan, please stop it... (under picture, the comment reads "Daniel is also showing a stylish sense of fashion, while Rupert keeps it more casual by combining a suit and a printed tee-shirt" Oh, FAIL,
and aslo DOUBLE FAIL for not being able to correctly write "deathly hallows", I should change my internet-gazette)

Today I am bitten, scratched, pinched etc... by various animals, including my own cat at home.
It started small with FLEAS. A part of the shop is being transformed. There used to be dogs, but now it will be an exposition area for parrot cages. Apparently, dog and cat fleas can survive very long in some kind of cocoon form when there is no host around, and wake up when body warmth is near. I assure you we do not have easily fleas on our animals, and when our dogs are infected we treat them asap. Those fleas from today must have survived the whole winter in some hidden corner of the building that is now teared down. So every time I had to go in that building, I was bitten by fleas. As you may know, dog fleas don't live on people, but apparently they like to taste me once before leaving... I kinda have allergic reactions to the bites for 30 minutes, and it itches badly. It's warm here so I was wearing a skirt and that made for an easy target, damn.
I sold a COCKATIEL, and the s**ofab**** bit me, through my glove with its tiny beak... Normally I don't even bother with a glove because their bites aren't that hard but the bast*** just pinched the side of my nail from my pinkie through the glove, and seriously, I think it went halfway through the flesh. And did I mention the part were I was WEARING GLOVES? It bled a lot, and hours later in the afternoon, I must have put some pressure on my pinkie and it started bleeding again. Still hurts even now.
It's not this one of course, just to give you an idea. It almost fits in your hand and the beak isn't even that big for his proportions, even love birds, who are smaller, have bigger beaks than this.
I am also scratched by a FLEMISH GIANT, and the client didn't even buy him, after all the trouble I had catching him in the fields...
It's a rabbit, damn it, rabbits never hurt me before, no matter their size.
I've also hurt myself, because I am just that clumsy (one might think I enjoy it) and my leg was bleeding from a tiny scratch, it was quite impressive to see and didn't stop as fast as I expected. Like a needle hole just under my knee, and the blood dripping just on to my ankle. Kinda weird...
I didn't put in a pic of a dog flea, because they are gross in close up (they are always gross, and my arch-enemy from now on, I think I've been attacked every hour and a half today, damnit)
Finally home, I put on some shorty pajamas, because the heat is killing me (Belgian summer does not normally have 30°C as a standard), and my cat decides to sit between my legs. The kids do some thing naughty, hubby yells some alfa-male growl to them to behave and the cat startles so much he scratches my thighs. My own kitty, *sniff* is turning against me.
Droopy, the innocent looking scratching traitor.
And how was your day?
There are some Star Trek fans on my Flist (and I am slowly surrendering to the fandom).
When I was younger, I watched Star Trek, the Next Generation, with Captain Jean-Luc Picard. I never really enjoyed the movies, I always preferred the series. I haven't seen much of Kirk, Spock and Sotty etc... but everytime I read fic with Scotty or Kirk, I think of this song:
I am easily amused, and parody is always enjoyable to me ;)
I had a letter from my 4 year old sons school. They are having the annual dance thingie. I don't know how you call it, but all the toddlers get to do a little dance on the stage for their parents, starting with the youngest (so funny to see) and ending with the 12 year olds. It takes 2 hours before the show is over and it's a way to put the school in the picture for parents who are still searching for a school. It's a bit like an open house day, all though they do exactly that on another day of the year too. But now this year, the annual school-dance is build around the them "circus" and they ask an entry fee. I was like: ???what the he???? First of all, they have their schoolfeest planned on the same day that we have to go vote (which is a date that is fixed months in advance, thank you very much) so one pair of grandparents isn't able to come (we have voting duty, not voting rights). My son's godmother can't come either, she just had a baby. So I practically begged my parents not to let my boy down and come, and beg my brother (who is Godfather) to come, because he still lives closer then my in laws and would be able to go vote and come see my son dance. And now, after I begged them to come, I must ask money (or pay it myself) It's not that much, €1, but it's just ... not done.
Not cool, school!
